Stress, Pressure & Recovery
Recognise early signs of pressure, understand personal triggers and responses, and explore practical ways to manage stress and recover more effectively between periods of demand.
Interactive workshops help employees build practical wellbeing capability, recognise pressure earlier, understand the patterns that can keep stress and overthinking going, and develop strategies they can apply in real working situations.

The purpose is not to deliver another wellbeing presentation. It is to help employees understand what pressure does to thinking and behaviour, recognise their own patterns earlier and practise more useful responses.
Recognise early signs of pressure, understand personal triggers and responses, and explore practical ways to manage stress and recover more effectively between periods of demand.
Understand worry cycles and repetitive thinking, recognise what keeps them going and practise ways of interrupting unhelpful patterns.
Develop more constructive responses to setbacks, uncertainty and challenging situations while building confidence in handling everyday workplace pressures.
Understand how emotional responses can influence thoughts, behaviour and communication, and practise ways of creating more choice before automatically reacting.
Explore rapport, communication, emotional responses and practical ways of approaching conversations that might otherwise be avoided or become unnecessarily difficult.
Help employees recognise automatic patterns, understand what triggers them and explore practical ways of responding differently when those patterns appear.
Workplace wellbeing is not identical in every organisation. Before delivery, we discuss your workforce, the pressures or challenges you are seeing and what you want employees to take away from the session. Workshops can then be tailored around the audience and desired learning outcomes rather than delivering the same generic wellbeing presentation to every organisation.
Sessions can be delivered live online, with in-person workplace delivery available where appropriate.
Choose a focused standalone workshop or combine topics into a wider programme of employee wellbeing learning.
Sessions are designed to give employees more than information. Where appropriate, participants can practise techniques and consider how to apply the learning to situations they encounter at work.
Based in St Helens, Merseyside, The Mind Coaching Academy provides in-person workplace wellbeing workshops for organisations across Liverpool, Merseyside and the wider North West, alongside live online workshops for organisations across the UK.
Workload, work patterns and the working environment.
How much say people have in the way they do their work.
The resources, encouragement and help available from the employer and colleagues.
Promoting positive working relationships and dealing with unacceptable behaviour.
Whether people understand their role and whether conflicting roles are avoided.
How organisational change is managed and communicated.
Workshops can strengthen awareness and individual capability, but they do not replace the employer's legal responsibility to assess and manage organisational causes of work-related stress.

Understand triggers, thoughts, emotions and behaviours before the response becomes automatic.
Practise strategies that create more choice under pressure.
Translate the learning into meetings, deadlines, difficult conversations, uncertainty and everyday demands.
Evaluation can be agreed around participation, anonymous feedback, perceived usefulness, confidence applying the learning and themes for future provision.

Who attended and overall engagement.

Whether the workforce would benefit from follow-up learning or individual support routes.
Tell us the workforce challenge, audience and desired learning outcome. The workshop can then be built around that result rather than a generic wellbeing presentation.
